Listening Party:<br>If Your Heart Hurts, Rub a Little Dirt On It: MGM & the Beginning of Everything<div>6pm Doors & 7pm Start<br>Post-Listening Panel with Cast</div><div>$5 or $10 Suggested Donation - All Proceeds Directly Benefit the Olympia Film Society</div><div><br></div><div><div>Focusing on MGM of the 1930s, this listening experience combines voice acting and original music to present a narratively adventurous, mood-based structure. Genre-bending in its approach, this experimental audio portrait uses archival research to present a euphonious and cake-rich exploration of stardom in the studio era.</div><div><br></div><div>After the audio documentary concludes, there will be a brief discussion with the cast. </div><div><br></div><div>Rob Patrick is a fellow at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. In addition to being a sound artist, he is the director of programming at the Olympia Film Society. </div><div><br></div><div>There will be no visual accompaniments during the listening party. While the lights are low, we ask that you take in this auditory adventure with an uninterrupted ear. </div></div><div><br></div><div>MON 6/29 7PM</div><div><br></div><div><div>Tickets are now available online and at the box office beginning 30 minutes before showtime.</div><div><br></div><div>This show has ADA area seating or specifically held seats available.
