The story involves Max, a little boy, who after creating mischief is sent to his room without his supper and in his solitude travels to an island where the Wild Things dwell. Featuring imaginative special effects and appealing performances by monsters and actors alike, Manohla Dargis of The New York Times calls Where The Wild Things Are “intensely original...”
