Help Wanted – Membership Support (Volunteers)
Do you have a good eye for details, and a desire to help out at OFS?  We are seeking regular help (estimated at 2-4 hours/week) in entering data and processing new and renewing memberships.  This important position works with the Executive Director to ensure our members’ needs are addressed in a friendly and efficient manner.  If you are able to help, please contact Thom Mayes at thom@olympiafilmsociety.org or call 360-754-6670 extension 10.

OFS Welcomes New Staff Member, Executive Director Thom Mayes-
Thom is a native of the Northwest, and has a background as a performer and arts administrator.  He holds an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, and has performed as a double bass player in symphonies from Bellingham to Olympia and beyond.  Thom has previously been Executive Director of the Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon and Development Director of Icicle Creek Center for the Arts in Leavenworth.  He most enjoys French and German language films, and live Blues, Reggae and World Music performances.  He joined the team this summer, and is excited to do his part to support the sustainability of OFS for future generations to enjoy its many diverse offerings.
